Douglas Keller Named New Chair of Plastics Pipe Institute
Douglas Keller has been named as the next Chair of the Plastics Pipe Institute's Board of Directors. He has been a member of PPI for the past 12 years. He is now taking over as Chair after serving as Vice Chair for the past two years. He has also served on the board of the association as treasurer.
Keller has worked with Equistar Chemicals and its predecessor businesses in different product development and technical support areas. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds two US patents for additive enhancements to PP and PE resins, has authored and presented several papers on the use of high-density polyethylene in pressure pipe applications, and has moderated sessions on the organizing committee for Plastic Pipes XVII, XVIII, and XIX. Keller has also served on many committees, sub-committees, and working groups.
